1- The Position:
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, highly organized, and motivated individual to work at Basqueland’s headquarters in Hernani as: PACKAGING OPERATOR.
2- Job Description:
• Report directly to the Packaging Manager.
• Perform bottling, canning, and kegging operations according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). These include manual tasks such as box formation, box filling, palletizing, and palletizing barrels weighing up to 40kg.
• Perform CIP cleaning operations of production lines and equipment according to established SOPs.
• Conduct quality control operations such as pH measurements, quantitative strip tests, can seal integrity analysis, dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide analysis in the product, luminometer cleanliness checks, and sample collection for the quality department.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and maintain a tidy work environment before, during, and after filling processes.
• Assist in planning and executing day-to-day tasks alongside the Packaging Manager.
• Assist in other departments such as production and warehouse if necessary.
3- Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in the food industry. Experience in breweries is a significant advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required due to heavy lifting.
• Maximum organization and attention to detail are absolutely essential, as is correctly filling out control sheets for each process.
• Basic computer skills and aptitude required.
• Education in brewing/packaging is a significant advantage, though not strictly necessary.
• Effective communication with the rest of the team.

5- Compensation:
