Brewer at Basqueland Brewing

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Brewer to join our team in Hernani.

Responsibilities:

• • Execute all phases of the brewing process, from grain milling to pre-packaging.
  • Ensure adherence to established recipes and processes to guarantee the quality of the final product.
  • Maintain accurate records of each process and report any process deviations.
  • Perform CIP cleaning of production equipment to ensure optimal hygiene and food safety conditions.
  • Execute cellar operations: Dry hopping, centrifugation, fermentation monitoring, yeast handling, and control.
  • Perform basic quality analysis: CO2/DO2 measurement, cell count, viability checks, gravity/density checks, and pH measurement.
  • Support continuous improvement projects.
  • Support other departments as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Represent Basqueland Brewing at festivals and events as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

• • Minimum 2 years of brewing experience in a fast-growing brewery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences (preferred).
  • Certifications such as the IBD Diploma in Brewing or similar are an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of all aspects of the brewing process.
  • Availability to work AM/PM shifts and weekends, depending on production goals.
  • Experience in accurate data collection and good QA/QC practices.
  • Passion for the brewing industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and oral.
