Imparable Award and “900th Game” beer for footballer David Silva

As he approaches his 900th game in professional football, a record achieved by very few, David Silva has been awarded the first Imparable Award, a recognition created to distinguish different personalities in society who inspire others to achieve their goals with their values and character.

The Canary Islands midfielder, a legend of Manchester City who currently plays for Real Sociedad, is considered one of the best players in Premier League history for his game, attitude, and leadership, on and off the field.

“Imparable is our most recognizable beer at Basqueland. It is the embodiment of the tenacity, talent and hard work of our team. It was one of the first beers we ever made. It was great then, seven years ago, and it’s even better now. We continue to find ways to improve. I can find parallels with Mr. Silva who is still playing at peak level with nearly two decades in professional futbol. He is someone that keeps his head-down and focuses on the job. To celebrate this award, as well as the footballer’s 900 games, Basqueland has created a limited edition Imparable called “900th Game”, whose label was designed by artist Marcos Navarro.

A regular in the Spanish National Team, with which he won a World Cup in 2010, David Silva played for Valencia, Eibar, and Celta de Vigo. He wore the Manchester City FC shirt from 2010 to 2020 – his time with the English team even earned him a statue outside the Ethiad Stadium – and is currently in his third season as a midfielder for Real Sociedad.

Now, at 37 years old, he will play his 900th game as a professional footballer if the coach includes him in the next two matches. Thus, the magician of Arguineguín would play his 900th game on Sunday, March 19th, in the match that Real Sociedad will play against Elche CF at 4:15 pm at the Anoeta stadium in San Sebastian.

900th Game Imparable, in which David Silva participated in its production, is now available at the usual points of sale for the brand–bars and gourmet shops, the taproom of the brewery in Hernani and San Sebastian, and through its online store.
